AziaCity.com is inviting applications for a newly created internship programme.

This is a rare opportunity for someone who is keen to learn how a web site operates and various online marketing strategies plus the chance to be involved in a completely new startup company, Asia City Online Limited.

As a member of the AziaCity.com team, you will be given opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects including website, events, surveys and other exciting marketing activities.

As our marketing interns, you will get to:

• Learn the basics of how a website operates

• Apply various online marketing strategies in reality

• Be hands-on and work on various web marketing projects

• Work on ads: layout, copywriting and art direction

Applicants should:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate Degree or Diploma in a Mass Communications or related course

• Be bright, articulate, resourceful and outgoing

• Know Singapore well and feel passionate about the Internet

• Be able to meet deadlines, multi-task and work under pressure

We expect you to work full time, five days a week. This is not a paid position and the internship program lasts for 10 weeks.

This position may lead to a permanent job.

ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER

Are you full of great ideas to help build BK Magazine sales? Do you have a special way with technology and automotive clients? You’re who we’re looking for:

Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience, direct and agency
Energetic, enthusiastic and sales oriented
Background in media industry, knowledge of BK Magazine’s readers and clients
Positive attitude, self motivated and can work independently
Very organized with knowledge of Excel
Excellent communication skills in Thai and English

SENIOR WRITER

Does this sound like you? We’re especially interested if you have web experience:

A Thai national
Fluent in written and spoken English, able to write with flair
At least 3 years of experience as a journalist
Independent, resourceful, enthusiastic and street-savvy
Proactive, hard-working and a team player
Able to meet tight deadlines, work long hours and under pressure
Willing and able to grow and take on greater responsibility

PRESS PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Minimum 2 years’ experience in printing process and production
Bachelor’s degree in printing technology or related field is an advantage
Mastery of all aspects of printing, including pre/post press and color separation
Strong design and layout skill. Working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, PageMaker, Freehand and other design programs
Hard-working, independent, able to multi-task and very organized
Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure and irregular hours
Good command of English and strong communication skills
Motivated and enthusiastic, willing and comfortable learning new technologies
Established relationships with printers and color separation companies is an advantage
